Dear Hoopla family & friends,
We have had quite the adventure with The Hoopla
Shop in the past 3 years. We are proud to say that we opened the Northeast’s first (hula) hoop shop.
With the opening of The Hoopla Shop, Celebrate Shelton was born and the creation of our Downtown Handmade Market. It’s where we met over 250 handmade artisans over the course of 3 years, co-hosted over 45 markets, and built a shop filled with love, a sense of community, and a whole lotta hoops.
Our small, but mighty team has evolved, but this is where Alexandra Capaldo and Lauren Dev began. Also, Marisa Caron and Sarah Murphy have been by my side since the day we opened and continue to take this journey with me every step of the way.
After our busiest summer of programming, we have decided to close our little hoop shop to start focusing on our next adventure. We are confident in our choice and have no doubt this was the best decision we could have made as a team!
To everyone who has supported us along the way, who attended markets, bought one or several hoops, thank you so much and keep it coming!
We are formulating the best ways to get your Christmas hoops to you and we will be announcing the holiday markets you can find us at this season later today!
Again, thank you. We will be celebrating our 7th year in business this April and we get the warm fuzzies every single day because we love what we do and are so lucky to spread the Hoopla Love. ❤️
